The political parties want to plant millions of trees but still want HS2 which will remove thousands of trees -doesn’t make any sense -it has destroyed lives and wildlife which we are supposed to be protecting. we should be improving our current railways ( get rid of first class travel to start with). We are a small island we don’t have the vast open spaces that other countries have. Isn’t it time we stopped rushing about and used technology instead of face to face meetings which means less travel in business.
